Whenever users report crazy issues with mail, I have a routine of the following:
- Request user close out of Notes
- Refresh mail templated design on server (l convert -u mail\filename * mail85.ntf)
- l fixup -F mail\filename
- l updall -F mail\filename
- l compact -c -i mail\filename
- Ask user to restart Notes Client, open mail, press SHIFT+F9, followed by CTRL+SHIFT+F9, then close and re-open mail
This resolves nearly all issues. The only time I've seen it not work well, is when they have a local replica that might be hosed. In those cases, I'll delete the local replica and re-create a new one from the server.
